connecting with Maine...
I love staying somewhere not far from potential photo locations during my photo trips. There's no need to wake up at 4 a.m. Instead, I can enjoy my sweet slumber until 4:30 a.m.
Bass Harbor Marsh might not be the most famous part of Acadia National Park, but its presence highlights the diversity of nature in this wonder of the East Coast.
Remote and ten times less crowded part of Acadia park. The atmospheric conditions didn't bring me any light that evening, but I managed to find some vibrant colors in a different way.
This park might not offer the grand sceneries that many places on the West Coast have, but I love it for its compactness, coziness, and diversity of landscapes and seascapes. Except for one remote part of the park, everything is reachable within fifteen to thirty minutes. Lakes and mountains, meadows and rocky coasts, sunsets and lighthouses. Ah, and breweries too!
